Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am very happy to announce the ongoing travel event “Mohoram’s Wheels (MW)”. MW is a journey from Bangladesh's capital Dhaka to US capital Washington DC, is started at 27 of June 2011. With my own wheelchair and all by myself, I have crossed 3 continents and 18 countries for a total distance of 25,828 kilometers (18,700 kilometers was planed). Now I am in New York 25,828 kilometers bus and train journey over India, Nepal, Kazaksthan, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Italy, Vaitcan City, Czech Republic, Belgium and UK.
The mission of this trip is to announce my proposal to build a World disABILITY Fund and also to show people with disabilities what can be achieved through the possession of a strong will and determination.
I already finished a 3,400 kilometers trip with my wheelchair from Bangladesh to India in 2007. I went to Russia in 2010 to participate at the international ERGO White Night Marathon in St. Petersburg. I also visited South Korea to participate at the Abilympics workshop. Along the way Mohoram met a lot of people encouraging him, making friends and giving an example of self-discipline and trust into one’s own ABILITY.
